Over the first 40 minutes, Deborah reads her and Jerry’s treatise on Romans 13 and Acts 16 regarding our “duties” to government; the meaning of the Greek word “logos” (per original biblical text); Apostle Paul’s imprisonment; America’s Christian history and the legal system that evolved from this; the history of governments throughout the world: the Age of the Patriarchs, the Age of Moses, the Age of Kings, and the Age of Republic (at least in America).

Randy calls in from Bedford, Massachusetts and weighs in on the oath of office issue, particularly the ancient importance that was placed upon a person upholding his word and honor; this honor evolved into requiring people to take an oath of office upon accepting a position in government to transact the will of the people in good faith and in accordance to the laws. Eddie and Deborah agree that the oath is often ignored by those who know that they will not be bound by any such constraint of law.

Rick (TX) reads his response to the court for refusing to state of poverty and requiring him to pay the fines prior to his appealing his case. Invokes the prohibition of debtor prisons.

Stefan (ID) on his problems with his bank which is requiring him to open accounts for his “DBA businesses” because people add additional verbiage beyond his name on their checks of payment. Also, Stefan’s problems with “identity theft” caused by the use of his credit card by his mother (with his approval).

Eddie responds to a caller’s question about Lysander Spooner’s legendary essay “No Treason”.

Marcus (VA) asks about Shaken Baby Syndrome.

Terry (MI) congratulates on Eddie for his Traffic Seminar and his attempts to convert it into Michigan law. Terry speaks about red light camera tickets and the MI attorney general’s opinion on the subject.

    HOUR 1 & 2

Listener email from James. Scriptual basis of holding officials accountable. Book of Acts chapter 16.
Deborah discusses Romans 13 used by Hitler. Is there a Christian duty to submit to government? There is no authority except from God. God is the ultimate authority.

    19:53
Deborah continues with historical nature of USA government. Founding fathers created a republic, not a kingdom. The people’s authority is never granted from people to people. God grants people authority, and we grant authority to positions/offices, not to the people in that office. This is why those holding office take an oath of office and those people have limited authority of those offices.

    42:15
Randy comments on people “crossing the line” to become a public servant. The people are sovereign. Public servants are constrained.

    47:00
Randy discusses why oath of office is important.

51:30 Eddie discusses Texas Constitution and it requiring public official to profess belief in supreme being.

    52:40
Rick in Texas. Seat belt ticket in 3rd court of appeals. Can county create an arrest warrant for non-payment of fees?
Eddie quotes traffic chapter 45.201 and a catch-22 about jurisdiction to hear a traffic offense.
Check prosecutor and judge for oath of office, bond, and anti-bribery statement. If any are missing, then they lack jurisdiction. Lack of jurisdiction is appealable issue and grounds for dismissal.
Randy suggests writ of mandamus to appeals court for order to city to cease and desist because they are interferring with appeals court. See Rules of Appelate Procedure, rule 52.
For appeals court, do everything in writing by filing a motion. Calling or letters do not help. Randy says do not tell city about writ being filed in appeals court.

There is no debtor prison in Texas.

    Speedy trial.

    Stephan in Idaho.
Third party violation of contract. DBA and checks.
Deborah has experience with incorrect payee on check. Not allowed to endorse check over to personal account. Customers should correctly fill out checks with correct payee name.

    Stephan in Idaho.
    Identity theft.
Grandmother using his credit card and credit card information was stolen and fraudulently used. File dispute with vendor, credit card company, and credit reporting companies. Send via certified mail.
Could be a clerical mistake if there are no fraudulent charges. No harm, no foul.

Asked hosts to be clear if referring to state code or federal code.

Asked for comments about “No Treason” and “No State Project”.
Eddie says he read LeSanders Stone and says LeSanders is accurate and correct. We are a nation by consent of the govern and our voluntary will, not by any particular documents. Constitution is our way to tell the elected managers how to do it. We must hold elected managers accountable.
Eddie agrees with some of what Mark Stevens says.

    Randy says “Wooster Massachusetts”.

How do “shaken baby syndrome” cases work out?
Deborah says in medical community this is a big deal that will cause permanent medical problems. Like other crimes, there must be evidence or confession.

    Terry in Michigan
Liked the traffic seminar. Converting to Michigan law.
Michigan State Attorney General gave opinion that red light cameras are illegal.
