Guest Howard Woodhouse. Howard Woodhouse is a Professor in the Department of Educational Foundations and Co-Director of the University of Saskatchewan Process Philosophy Research Unit in Canada.
He has lectured at universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Belgium, South Korea, and Nigeria.
He has published widely on academic freedom and university autonomy; educational philosophy; and cultural and economic dependency in Africa.
His book, Selling Out: Academic Freedom and the Corporate Market, published by McGill-Queen’s University Press in 2009, was short-listed for a scholarly writing prize by the Saskatchewan Book Awards.
In 2016 he received an award from the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association for his ongoing work in support of collegial governance.
