10-20-13 The Vaccine Myth: An Issue of Trust
Dr. Diane Harper, OB/GYN, specialist in OB/GYN, is one of a select group of HPV experts called in to help design the clinical trials of Gardasil and Cervarix. She stated that pap smears need to be continued whether vaccinated or not, because the tested length of efficacy of the vaccines in preventing HPV infection is not long enough to prevent cervical cancer, which can take ten or twenty years, or longer, to develop; because there are more circulating strains of potentially carcinogenic strains of the virus than are contained in the vaccine; and because many women are already infected, in which case the vaccine is not effective. Based on the clinical trial data, she also stated that vaccination will not decrease the number of cervical cancer cases, but that a retinue of regular pap smears will.

10-06-13 The Vaccine Myth: An Issue of Trust
Dr. Nancy Banks, OB/GYN, is the guest. Dr. Banks emphasizes the terrain theory, as opposed to germ theory; that the state of health of the body determines whether a potentially pathogenic microorganism will cause disease, not the mere presence of the microorganism. Vis-a-vis vaccines, her focus has been HPV and HIV, both of which viruses have never actually been isolated, leading to subsequent decades of bad science.
The issue of trust is: MD’s ain’t necessarily doctors.

Ginger Taylor is Vice President of the Canary Party, and mom to a son now much recovered from autism. Her blog, Adventures in Autism, is a thorough source of information about autism in particular, and vaccines in general. In her research into vaccines, Ginger quickly realized that the vaccine paradigm is fundamentally a political, rather than a medical, problem.
